Amalfi Coast Outdoor Experience was born from Sergio's passion for kayaking along the Amalfi Coast: what for years was his own personal way of exploring this coastline became, in his first year in business, his profession. He loves sharing with visitors the coves and hidden corners you can only see from the sea.

This experience suits both those who have kayaked before and those who have never tried: no experience is needed, but you must be able to swim and not be afraid of the water (a life jacket is provided in any case). It is the longest of the three routes offered by Amalfi Coast Outdoor Experience: we set off from the public beach of Vietri sul Mare, paddle past Cetara and reach Spiaggia del Cauco at Erchie, overlooked by Torre La Cerniola, one of the best-preserved watchtowers on the Coast. It was built in 1532-33 by order of Don Pedro de Toledo, Viceroy of Naples, as part of the defenses against Saracen and Barbary pirate raids, and in later centuries it was converted into a tonnara for tuna fishing. Here the clear water and rocky seabed are perfect for snorkeling: bring your own mask or rent one from us (€3). On the way back: Amalfi Spritz and caponata, a traditional local bread-and-tomato salad, topped with buffalo mozzarella.
